	Captains' Practice Starts Monday, August 9th and runs through Friday, August 13th 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Meet at the fields north of Maple Grove Senior High Bring a soccer ball, cleats, shinguards, water, and running shoes. 	Save the Dates
	Next up on the calendar! Car Wash *Come have some fun in the sun and hang out with your teammates!* Saturday – August 14^th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. At Burger King in Maple Grove We’ll need player volunteers for two hour shifts and parents to help supervise. Please let us know if you can help!

	Our booster club needs you!
	We are looking for parents to help organize the following activities for the 2010 soccer season: Ball Chasers, Concessions, Program Book, Stadium Signs, Banquet, Fund Raisers, Jersey and Sponsor Night, Senior Night, Picture Signing Night, Field Support (announcer, statisticians, field set up and take down), Pasta Parties, Spirit Wear, and the Duluth Trip. If you are interested in helping with booster club activites or being involved in a committee, please contact Coach Ben LeVahn (levahnb@district279.org) or one of the booster parents at crimsonsoccer@hotmail.com If you don't know where to help but want to do something, please contact us as well.

	Crimson Girls End of Season Banquet
	The Maple Grove Girls Soccer teams held their 2009 end of season banquet on Sunday November 8th. Congratulations to all the teams on a fantastic season and all the hard work put in by players, coaches and parents in making 2009-10 a fantastic season. Best of luck to the 11 seniors who will be moving on to new adventures!

	New Shinguard Rule
	A new MSHSL policy will be in effect in 2008 to require all soccer players to have age appropriate sized shinguards. They will be marked by a NOSCAE stamp which indicates what age level it matches. This will be enforced starting the 2008-09 season.

	Support Needed
	One of the members of our Crimson Soccer family, Meghan Gallagher, is going through some tough times right now. Her father, Terry, is being treated for colon cancer. Please support the family through this process. If you would like, you can see how things are going or write a message to Meghan and the family on their CaringBridge webpage.
